LLB intern description

Live Like Blaine’s mission is to offer dynamic, transformative leadership programming and mentoring to young female athletes while creating diverse community connections among them. Our goal is to instill a lifetime of leadership skills in young female athletes and empower them to become confident, resilient and positive leaders.

For 8 years, Live Like Blaine has impacted the lives of more than 1,000 girls throughout the greater Philadelphia region through programs and projects fostering leadership skills. Through our diversity of programs, we remain focused on providing skills needed to become leaders on and off the field. The young female athletes who have participated in our programs have received numerous accolades and awards including a Prudential Emerging Visionary Award, a Good Citizenship Award from the Union League and a nomination to Teen Vogue 21 under 21. Together we are building the next generation of female leaders.

Working directly with our female student athletes is an additional benefit.

The intern will play a critical role in operations, event planning and logistics, communications, marketing and development, and will ensure the success of LLB’s summer programs. Interns learn valuable professional skills and are an essential part of the Live Like Blaine team.
